Once again, Cadence has exceeded my every expectation.

I recently had my nephew's bike fit at Cadence. Coach Brady Gibney did an incredible job displaying patience and understanding. My nephew, Kyle, is only 13 years old. Brady walked my nephew through the entire process from picking out shoes, cleats, fitting and demonstrating pedaling technique. Brady made several adjustments to the bike and the results were amazing. Kyle proudly wore his Cadence kit to his first race, a time trial 10 miles in length. Kyle managed to do the 10 miles in 32 minutes finishing 2nd in his age group, despite a fall and popped chain. He finished 4th overall for Juniors. An amazing feat for someone riding only 4 weeks. He was so proud as he stepped onto the podium in his Cadence kit. Woody was instrumental in correcting gearing issues and Jose could not have been nicer in allowing Kyle to demo a set of wheels. All of the above contributing to a wonderful experience for a young kid, new to cycling and racing. It made his birthday very special.
I took Kyle to the
Cadence Cycling Foundation program at Mastery Charter School, not knowing what to expect. What an experience. The children involved are extremely polite, dedicated and respectful of each other and the sport. What a great program. Ryan Oelkers does a fantastic job with this program. These kids are developing into some very skilled cyclists. Ryan has taught these kids not only the basics of biking but values that will stay with these children for quite sometime. His patience and enthusiasm are second to none. I strongly suggest that if anyone has a few spare minutes to get involved in this program and lend a hand if possible. The feeling that comes over you is incredible. This program is well worth the drive from South Jersey. I hope that in these troubled times that the Foundation will continue. The entire concept is incredible and what a way to give back to the community.

A very sincere thank you to Jay Snider and Ryan for establishing this foundation. Cadence has given hope to many youth that may not have been able to experience cycling and the opportunity of a lifetime to develop into young gentlemen. On behalf of my nephew Kyle, myself, and all those who are in the program, a heart felt thank you. Hopefully the Foundation will continue for a long time.
