Who We Are
After opening its first location in Philadelphia in May of 2004 Cadence immediately set itself apart as the world's premier and authoritative center for cycling and multisport. We have been consulting experts for all Philadelphia major network news affiliates (NBC, CBS, ABC, and FOX), and have also served as an information source for Philadelphia's number one news radio source, KYW, and for FOX News' national program, Money in the Morning.
We have performed bike fit, biomechanical, and consultative services for such professional teams as Discovery, CSC, Sierra Nevada/Kodak, Rite-Aid, Colavita-Sutter Home, Navigators, Priority Health, and Quark, and are the prefered coaching organization for the United States Marines Corps' All-Marine Running and Triathlon Teams, Wilier, and Zoot Sports. Our world-class coaching staff actively coach athletes from professionals to first-timers and to each they bring the same amount of care and diligence.
At Cadence, cycling beginners, enthusiasts and triathletes of all abilities feel instantly at home and naturally a part of an environment designed to cater to their every need. You'll see that Cadence sets a new standard, a new direction, for high-end products, world-class coaching, and unparalleled services.
Building The Cadence Concept
From its conception it was established that Cadence must employ only the most knowledgeable and most agreeable experts in the industry. In addition to this, we had to ensure that our employees are passionate about the sports we love, cycling and triathlon. To satisfy our strict requirements, Cadence sought out and selected key individuals to head up each of its departments: coaching services, mechanical services, and retail sales.
Once the right staff were chosen, Cadence invested in their educations to assure quality and ensure our clients' satisfaction. That's why each of our staff is certified in their respective fields of expertise: coaching and physiological testing (certification provided by USA Cycling and USA Triathlon), mechanical services (certification provided by Barnett's Bicycle Institute), and bike fitting and biomechanical services (extensive certification provided internally through our rigorous protocols and standards and in conjunction with Cadence's Scientific Advisory Board).
